Moments ago, City and County officials held a press conference to address the five new positive cases of coronavirus here in San Diego County. In this address they announced a ban on all large events.
"The county issued a public health order that is effective at midnight Thursday. Mass gatherings of 250 or more people are banned in San Diego County through the end of March. Gatherings under 250 people are encouraged to have a social spacing of at least six feet."
In light of that, we will postpone our 3/14 bouts. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes but please know we just want to do what is right by our community. If you have any further concerns, please reach out to us directly.

Join hosts Derby United and SoCal Derby for a beautiful afternoon of roller derby at the new Derby United Headquarters. This event will include three back-to-back games of roller derby. Join us for one game or stay for all three.

Parking:
First come, first served on-site parking for $10. Valet parking only. Free street parking as available. Please be respectful of our neighbors and park courteously on Federal Blvd.
Food & Beverage:
Food will be available on site for purchase from Fresheria - Be Fresh, a family owned restaurant , with one of their many locations here in the neighborhood of Encanto. Enjoy their game day offerings throughout the triple header event. Their game day menu includes: Corn cup, Tostitos, Chamango, Fruit cup, Açaí bowl, Fresas con crema (strawberries and cream), Wraps (Chicken or Quinoa), and Tortas (Ham, Chicken or Steak).
Adult beverages will be served by our nonprofit partners at Roll Out Inc who be providing guests with beer for purchase at this event. Cerveza Xteca, brewed by its local Encanto founders, will be served on site for guests 21+. All proceeds will benefit Roll Out Inc. To read more about the partnership, check out this article.

Venue Notes:
This is a lighted outdoor venue. Please dress appropriately. After dark temperatures drop. Indoor restroom facilities are located on premises. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be postponed. All tickets will be transfer to the Rain Date. Ticket purchasers will be notified via email. The Rain Date for this event is Sunday March 15th with Game 1 beginning at 10a and each subsequent game beginning two hours later.
Personal Belongings:
Please do not bring valuables to the facility. Derby United is not responsible for lost or stolen items. No personal chairs/seating may be brought for onsite. Service animals only.
Outside Food & Beverage:
NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGE IS PERMITTED ON SITE. Any guest found to be enjoying outside beverages will be asked to leave the facility immediately and no refund will be issued. Guests under 2 years old are exempt. All bags are subject to search upon entry.
Weapons & Inappropriate Behavior:
No weapons of any kind are permitted on a Derby United premises. Please refrain from bringing firearms or any weapons on the property including those that are legal and properly licensed. All bags and persons may be subject to search upon entry. Derby United promotes an inclusive community. No abusive or combative behavior of any kind will be tolerated. Guests engaging in any such behavior will be escorted out of the facility immediately. No refunds will be issued.
